I. Working Principle
This equipment highly integrates pre treatment, membrane filtration, disinfection, chemical dosing, and automatic control units into a standard container, forming a "plug-and-play" modular water purification system. With ultra filtration (UF) as the core filtration unit (which can be optionally paired with reverse osmosis (RO) for advanced desalination depending on water quality requirements), combined with coagulation, sedimentation, multi-media filtration, and disinfection processes, it purifies surface water, groundwater, or reclaimed water into compliant drinking water or process water.
The integrated container design equips the equipment with comprehensive functions for water intake, treatment, water production, and automated control, facilitating overall transportation, lifting, and rapid deployment. It is particularly suitable for emergency, remote, and temporary water supply scenarios – simply connect the water supply and power source at the site, and the system can be put into operation immediately.
• High integration: Pre-treatment, membrane filtration, disinfection, dosing, and automatic control systems are all integrated within a single container.
• Plug-and-play: Modular rapid deployment, facilitating transportation, lifting, and relocation.
• Adaptable to diverse water sources: surface water, groundwater, and reclaimed water can all be purified and treated.
II. Process Flow
All system components are integrated into a standard container; the entire process – from raw water intake to water supply – is divided into three major functional sections: the pretreatment section, the membrane filtration section, and the disinfection and water supply section; the rated water production capacity is 15,000 L/h (approximately 15 m³/h).
Raw water → Raw water tank → Lift pump → Coagulation / Sedimentation / Multi-media filtration
↓
Ultrafiltration (UF) unit (Automatic Backwashing)
↓ (Optional RO deep desalination)
Disinfection (UV/ sodium hypochlorite) → Water tank → Constant-pressure water supply system
(Container Integration: Electrical Control, Dosing, Online Instrumentation)
① Pre-treatment section (inside the container)
The raw water is first buffered in a raw water storage tank, then undergoes coagulation, sedimentation, and multi-media filtration to remove suspended solids, colloids, turbidity, and a portion of organic matter, thereby providing a stable feed stream for the subsequent membrane filtration process; the chemical dosing unit automatically adds chemicals based on the water quality.
② Membrane filtration section
The pretreated water is fed into an ultrafiltration (UF) unit, where bacteria, colloids, and particulates are retained, significantly reducing the SDI; if the raw water has a high salinity level, reverse osmosis (RO) can be optionally installed after the UF unit for advanced desalination, further removing dissolved salts. The system performs automatic backwashing based on time or pressure differential to maintain membrane flux.
③ Disinfection and Water Supply Section
The treated water is disinfected using UV or sodium hypochlorite before being stored in a clean water tank and then delivered to various usage points via a distribution pump operating at constant pressure; the PLC within the container is used for the integrated control of parameters such as liquid level, pressure, flow rate, turbidity/conductivity, among others, enabling real-time monitoring and interlocking functionality.
III. Application Areas
This equipment is designed for water supply scenarios requiring rapid deployment—such as emergency situations, remote areas, or temporary deployments—and is primarily used in the following applications:
• Emergency/Disaster Relief Water Supply: Temporary safe water supply for emergencies such as floods or earthquakes.
• Remote areas/ villages – Water supply: Centralized water supply for regions with fragmented terrain and inadequate pipeline network coverage
• Engineering / Construction Site Temporary Water Supply: Water supply during the construction phase for infrastructure projects, mining operations, oilfield projects, etc.
• Field/Military Water Supply: Field water purification support for military exercises, garrison duties, scientific expeditions, etc.
• Island/Offshore Water Supply: Water supply for areas with scarce freshwater resources, such as islands and offshore platforms.
• Industrial Parks / Temporary Bases: Mobile water supply support for industrial parks, military camps, etc.
